There are two ways to connect a bank account as a vendor in Routable, either from the registration email notification, or from the email notification to update your payment method.
Connecting a bank account from the registration email notification
Locate the email notification starting with the subject line, “Register to be paid by…”.
In that email, click the button Register to be paid. On the new page, you will be prompted to enter personal info and tax info. After completing the tax info section, proceed to the Payment method section.
Here you should see two options to connect a bank account:
- Connect your bank account securely and instantly via Plaid, our third party platform.

Manually add your bank details (account and routing numbers) and verify ownership of the account with micro deposits (takes 2-3 business days to verify)
If you connected through Plaid, complete setting your bank account by clicking the button Confirm payment method.
If you manually added your bank account, the option to confirm your payment method will be disabled. Please wait up to 2-3 business days to receive micro deposits to that account as well as another email notification to verify ownership.
Once your bank account has been successfully verified, you should be set to receive future payments to that account. 🎉
Connecting a bank account from the update payment method email notification
If you are looking to update your bank details, you might have received an email with the subject line, “Update how you get paid from…”. In that email, click the button Update my payment method.
On the new page, click Update payment method.
Select Bank account transfer and +Add another bank account.
Choose between one of the two options displayed to add your new bank account:

Connect bank account: connect your bank account securely and instantly via Plaid, our third party platform.
OR - Add bank account by entering account and routing numbers: manually add your bank details (account and routing numbers) and verify ownership of the account with micro deposits (takes 2-3 business days to verify).
After either connecting your bank account through Plaid, or manually adding bank details, you should see your newly added bank account on the page.
If you connected through Plaid, finish connecting your bank account by clicking the button Complete.
If you manually added your bank account, the option to confirm your payment method will be disabled. Please wait up to 2-3 business days to receive micro deposits to that account as well as another email notification to verify ownership.
Once your bank account has been successfully verified, you are set to receive future payments to that account.
