There are two ways to connect a bank account to either accept or send a payment through Routable:
- Connect securely and instantly via Plaid, our third party platform.
- Manually adding your account and routing numbers, and then verifying your account with two micro deposits.
To verify ownership when adding your bank account manually, we’ll send two micro deposits under $1.00 to your account.
From the moment you save your bank account details, within the next 2-3 business days, you should see the deposits from Routable on your bank statements.
In addition to receiving the deposits, you should receive a new email notification with the subject line, Please verify your bank account.
Next steps after receiving those two items:

Head over to the email notification and click the Verify bank account button.

On the new page, under the bank account that you are trying to verify:

(1) Click +Enter deposits to verify.

(2) A modal should appear with two empty fields: Deposit amount 1 and Deposit amount 2. In those fields, enter the micro deposits that match with what you see on your bank statements.

Once you have validated your account with the micro deposits, you'll be able to accept payments if you’re a vendor, or pay invoices if you’re a customer.
