Security at Routable

We totally understand that you may have concerns when being asked to enter your bank account credentials on our platform. 

Routable uses a third-party service called Plaid that allows you to securely connect your bank account so you can send or receive  ACH payments . In order to make this connection, you are required to log in to your bank using Plaid’s secure portal and then select the bank account you want to use. This login information is encrypted and it is kept safe with Plaid’s best-in-class security protocols. 

Once you are connected with Plaid, you have the added benefit of being able to receive payments faster through a secure method with traceable ID’s.

If you are not comfortable adding your bank account to Routable via this method, you have the option to add your bank account manually. 

This manual option requires you to verify ownership of the bank account using two small micro deposits that will be delivered to the account in 2-3 business days.
